Quick answers to the most common questions about ReadyFlyLog accounts, billing and data.
ReadyFlyLog FAQ
Do I need a credit card to start?
- No. You can start your free trial without providing any payment details or credit card information. Payment is never collected automatically.
How long is the free trial?
- A genuinely new account creating its first workspace receives a 30-day trial. If you already have an account and create an additional workspace, that workspace receives a 7-day trial. Being invited to someone else's workspace does not start a trial.
What happens after my free trial ends?
- When the trial period ends, the workspace switches to read-only mode. You can still sign in, view everything you recorded and export your data, but you cannot create or change records. Subscriptions are handled directly by the ReadyFlyLog team: we agree the details with you and issue payment documents manually. Once a subscription is recorded, full access is restored. Nothing is charged automatically.
What happens if I stop paying for my subscription?
- Billing is handled manually by the ReadyFlyLog team. If a subscription is not settled, we contact you directly and the workspace may be switched to read-only mode. In read-only mode you can still sign in, view all previous flights, bookings, maintenance records and documents, and export your existing data. You cannot create new records, edit existing records, or add new flights, bookings or maintenance entries. Your data is never deleted because of a missed payment, and full access is restored once the subscription is settled.
Is my data deleted if my subscription expires?
- No. Your data is never deleted simply because your subscription expires. If your account becomes read-only, all your flights, bookings, maintenance records and documents remain safely stored. Once your subscription is reactivated, you'll regain full access to all your data.
Can I manage multiple aircraft?
- Yes. ReadyFlyLog supports multiple aircraft within the same organization, making it suitable for private owners, flying clubs and flight schools operating a fleet.
Is ReadyFlyLog suitable for flying clubs as well as flight schools?
- Absolutely. ReadyFlyLog is designed for flight schools, flying clubs and private aircraft owners. Whether you manage a single aircraft or an entire fleet, the platform helps you organize bookings, maintenance, documents and flight records in one place.
Can I export or back up my data?
- Yes. ReadyFlyLog allows you to export your data whenever you need it. Flight records, bookings, maintenance logs, aircraft information and other data can be exported to Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) for reporting, archiving or further analysis. We believe your data belongs to you. That's why exporting your information is always simple and available whenever you need it.
